In light of the National Oil Corporation’s periodic follow-up of the activities of its operating and service companies in order to identify the most important difficulties facing these companies and work to achieve the Corporation’s goals to increase production.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the technical and financial meeting for the year 2024 was held at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation, in the presence of the Chairman and members of the Operator Management Committee, the directors of the technical and financial departments of the company, representatives of foreign partners, and representatives of the Libyan Technology and Al-Jawf companies. In the presence of the directors and specialists in the departments concerned with the National Oil Corporation.

The activities of the technical and financial departments, matters related to health, safety and the environment, and performance indicators such as production, reservoir and laboratory studies, and oil reserves, as well as all projects related to the plan to increase production rates, were discussed.​

After reviewing the company’s future projects and the proposed budget for the year 2025, as well as the expected production targets for the next ten years, the meeting concluded with positive results according to the indicators extracted from the technical and financial discussions, which will contribute to accelerating the pace of work and putting the final touches on implementing future plans.
