About

It is considered one of the important technical departments, and its specialty is monitoring the transportation of crude oil from the well to the surface via submersible pumps and then to the separation stations through pipelines of various lengths and sizes. It operates production equipment and processes materials associated with crude oil, such as water and gas, as well as monitoring the condition of equipment and operating systems in the fields and the port. Through the operations department, plans are developed for the maintenance and renewal of production-related equipment, such as oil pumps from the fields to the port of Zawiya, main air compressors, turbines, meters, separators, and main and branch lines, among many others.

The operations department also supervises the export of crude oil from the Zawiya oil port according to an annual plan prepared in coordination with the marketing department of the National Oil Corporation.
